Cultivation Advice.
These spring flowering clematis produce clusters of sweetly scented flowers. Their long narrow leaves are evergreen, leathery in texture and are similar to those of the common laurel.  The Armandii Group prefer a sunny, free draining situation to perform well.  If required, prune immediately after flowering.

Evergreen clematis prefer a light loam or free-draining soil. Although evergreen, occasionally some leaves will die off, this is natural and they can be carefully trimmed off.  In extreme heat, some may drop their leaves. Do not water too much at this time, but give them two or three doses of liquid tomato feed at fortnightly intervals which will perk them up and will encourage them to produce fresh leaves later in the summer. Avoid them becoming too excessively wet during their first autumn and winter in the ground or perhaps plant in the spring. For more Tips on growing Evergreen Clematis click here.

Thrilled with quality product delivered in good condition speedily

Thrilled with quality product delivered in good condition speedily. Well packaged and delighted to be able to plant up almost immediately. Only small issue was that the carrier does not advise what they are delivering so had to go back to supplier to confirm who they use and assume it was the plants arriving. All good but we were out and so wanted to check making right decisions re advise to carrier.
