Cultivation Advice.

These clematis prefer a good quality soil with high nutrient levels and a soil which is moist but free-draining. Improve planting holes with at least 2 forkfuls of well rotted manure or garden compost and if you don't have these use a 'Soil Improver' compost. The improvement material added should be placed under the root of the plant not around it. This encourages the roots to grow downwards and remain deep and cool during summer. There is no need to deadhead these clematis, however if they appear to have finished flowering earlier than you expected, there is no harm in giving them a light trim to encourage new growth and a secondary flowering late in the autumn.

Superb quality plant

Our Clematis Victoria arrived in excellent condition having been carefully packed in a strong cardboard box. Having planted it straightaway it got off to a great start and is now in full flower. Highly recommended company.

Good Quality

I was a bit apprehensive with this as I received it just when the weather was extremely hot. However, I have noticed new growth and the promise of a flower bud so I think this must mean it will now be OK

I have a number of this particular clematis growing up my pergola , I have this particular clematis growing with crimson showers the purple and red are a really good combination and go on flowering for a long period of time I needed an additional plant which arrived in excellent condition really healthy and bushy .

I decided to add another plant to my order after placing my original order and the staff were very obliging allowing me to add to the order saving me an additional carriage charge
