Here we have a list of clematis that are possibly rare or hard to find, maybe they are something we have only a few or are popular with plant collectors.
This is the place to find those clematis and climbers that will be something different to the 'run of the mill' varieties.
Some of these plants will require more particular care and attention but are worth the extra effort.

Clematis Blue Dwarf

Clusters of pretty silvery-blue hyacinth shaped flowers with glaucous foliage and makes an excellent 'front of border' plant. This clump-forming clematis has erect woody stems and requires free draining soil.

Clematis orientalis var. orientalis

Clematis orientalis var. orientalis has masses of small pale creamy-yellow bell-shaped flowers that have a bright yellow inside and sometime a reddy-brown outside. The blooms are produced through mid summer to late autumn followed by an abundance of silvery seed-heads.
