A lovely old variety dating from the late 1800's. Her lovely mid red flowers are lightly mottled with flecks of white, fading to a more mauvey-red as the flower matures.

The charming dusky mauve-pink flowers have a deeper half-bar when first open. She pales to a delicate pearly-pink as her blooms mature. Introduced by Fisks Clematis Nursery in 1969 clematis 'Margaret Hunt' is one of our most popular summer flowering clematis.

Clematis 'Margot Koster' is a lovely old clematis which has irregular, somewhat 'dishevelled-looking' flowers of deep mauve-pink, which nevertheless are extremely attractive!  An excellent companion plant, it grows very well with other climbers and though shrub roses.

The delightful semi-nodding creamy-white flowers mature to pure white and have a lovely crown of contrasting purple stamens. This is a lovely form of viticella and performs vey well in many soil types as well as on Any aspect, so very forgiving in it's nature.

The beautiful upward-facing blooms open creamy-white, turning to pure white as they mature and have golden stamens. A beautiful old cultivar from the early 1900's.

The semi-double flowers have a cream base heavily overlaid with deep salmon-pink. Salmon-pink colouration can be very slight in the first years of the plants life and will deepen with age. Colour develops best in sunny aspects.

Markhams Pink has light to mid pink semi-double nodding, bell-shaped flowers in great abundance. One of the most popular of all the spring flowering clematis there are and a hardy plant too.

This gorgeous old clematis dates from the 1500's. It's semi-nodding rosette-like double flowers are deep dusky-amethyst which look wonderful against a pale background like a rendered wall or cream or white fence.

Clematis MASA has very abundant, exotic looking flowers, with rich bluey-purple tepals and deep purple anthers that have a silvery sheen. Prolific and easy to grow.

The mid mauvy-pink flowers have a textured surface with a pretty satin sheen and delicious spicy scent. She also boasts an attractive bronze foliage.

Clematis MICHIKO is an excellent addition to the Forsteri group. The compact stems provide an abundance of pretty white flowers over an interesting evergreen parsley shaped foliage. A prolific flowering plant with prostrate growing habit or can be trained vertically if desired.

The delightful semi-nodding flowers have light purply-red margins that gently merge to white bars. It has distinctive pale green stamens with deep purply-red tips.

The margins of the rounded overlapping tepals are slightly bluey-white with a more creamy-white bar and it has contrasting dark red stamens. The bars of the early flowers can be pale green.

The pure white scented flowers have broad purply-pink margins on the reverse. Will also flower sporadically through the summer months.
Ensure free draining soil conditions are provided as can be prone to wetting-off in winter months.

The wonderful light mauvy-blue flowers have pale coffee-coloured anthers. A fabulous old cultivar which, if hard pruned, can be grown in a patio container. Cholmondeley is pronounced Chumley.

The deep purply-blue flowers have a purply-cerise bar. A bold, eye-catching family favourite, this was one of the first clematis we ever had growing in our garden.

The clusters of small white, scented flowers are tinged with grey-mauve or pale blue and are produced in great abundance across the plant through the summer and early autumn. 

The early flowers of clematis Multi Blue are of pointed double blooms of light french navy-blue and often the later flowers will have more of a single flower shape and smaller spiky centre.

Striking and exotic flowers of striking candy pink have a narrow dark bar down the centre. Multiple layers make this a fully double spiky bloom that will please the eye of any gardener.
