The semi-nodding irregular shaped white flowers have green 'leaf-like' tips to its early blooms. These delightful blooms are treasured by flower-arrangers.

The flamboyant, eye-catching semi-double, violet-purple flowers have a white stripe in the centre of the tepal and a spiky centre of violet-purple and white petaloid stamens. An outstanding cultivar for your garden.

These unusual deep pinky-red flowers have a pale pink pom-pom like centre and strongly recurved tips to the tepals.

Pretty pale bluey-mauve nodding bell-shaped flowers, whose pointed tips open and twist slightly to reveal a deeper bluey-mauve and textured inside. The delicate perfume is more noticeable when planted in the sun.

The gorgeous pale, mauvy-blue flowers have a pretty satin sheen across their deeply textured surface. Its crimped and wavy margins taper to pointed tips. At dusk the flowers become almost luminous. Beautiful!

These gorgeous flowers are almost black on opening and mature to the deepest purple with a velvety sheen. As the flower ages the crown of stamens take on a silvery appearance which adds to their charm.

The pretty bluey-white flowers merge to light blue margins and tips. The reverse has the same colouring with distinctive purple ribs. It is exceptionally free-flowering.

When first open the light mauvy-blue flowers have rosy-violet shading along the central bar which fades as the blooms mature. A deeply textured surface, crimped and undulating margins add to their charm.

The delightful semi-nodding bell-shaped flowers are rich deep pink, merging to light mauve-pink margins and recurved tips. A wonderful sight cascading over our arch. Formerly known as texensis 'Etoile Rose'.

The dainty semi-nodding flowers are slightly greeny-cream when first open and mature to almost pure white. The variety was discovered in Hagelby Park, Stockholm, and introduced in 1998 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Swedish Clematis Society.

The nodding bell-shaped flowers are pale violet-blue and produced in great profusion across the plant. A charming climber that is excellent as a companion plant and sometimes quite hard to find.

Dainty white flowers have a mid-pink margin, purple anthers and are borne in great abundance. Magnificent grown with 'Walenburg'.

The wonderfully rich carmine red flowers have a brighter red bar and deep wine red anthers. This plant has performed really well in my parents hot garden with sandy soil and the uniform shape is very charming.

The dainty pearly-white nodding urn-shaped flowers have a pinky-mauve blush. A vigorous grower that makes a good companion to large shrubs, and whose delightful blooms make excellent cut flowers. 

The silvery-pink buds open to glorious deep crimson flowers and have a white spot at the base of each tepal with contrasting dark brown stamens.

The dainty bluey-purple nodding bell-shaped flowers have a white star on the interior and are perfect for that 'cottage garden' look. Clematis 'Little Bas' was raised in Holland on the nursery of J van Zoest and named after their youngest son.

Clematis 'Margot Koster' is a lovely old clematis which has irregular, somewhat 'dishevelled-looking' flowers of deep mauve-pink, which nevertheless are extremely attractive!  An excellent companion plant, it grows very well with other climbers and though shrub roses.

The delightful semi-nodding creamy-white flowers mature to pure white and have a lovely crown of contrasting purple stamens. This is a lovely form of viticella and performs vey well in many soil types as well as on Any aspect, so very forgiving in it's nature.

This gorgeous old clematis dates from the 1500's. It's semi-nodding rosette-like double flowers are deep dusky-amethyst which look wonderful against a pale background like a rendered wall or cream or white fence.

The delightful semi-nodding flowers have light purply-red margins that gently merge to white bars. It has distinctive pale green stamens with deep purply-red tips.

The slightly reddy purple blooms have a hint of white at the base of each sepal and almost black anthers. One of the largest blooms in the viticella group and very popular to grow with peach or apricot roses.
