Clematis Josephine has distinctive double, rosette-like blooms that are light mauvy-pink, with deeper pink bars. Best grown in a sunny position, Josephine always produces double blooms, even when hard pruned.

The beautiful double rosette-like blooms are deep lavender-blue and have contrasting cream stamens. It always produces double blooms.

This gorgeous old clematis dates from the 1500's. It's semi-nodding rosette-like double flowers are deep dusky-amethyst which look wonderful against a pale background like a rendered wall or cream or white fence.

The classic pure white blooms have a satin sheen and crown of coffee-coloured stamens. The early blooms are occasionally semi-double.

The early flowers of clematis Multi Blue are of pointed double blooms of light french navy-blue and often the later flowers will have more of a single flower shape and smaller spiky centre.

Striking and exotic flowers of striking candy pink have a narrow dark bar down the centre. Multiple layers make this a fully double spiky bloom that will please the eye of any gardener.

The pretty double, and single, mid mauvy-pink flowers have deep rose-pink bars, irregular white markings and a crown of yellow stamens. The later blooms are always single. Pronounced Pee-loo.

Named to commemorate her birth, clematis Princess Charlotte has double, dahlia-like blooms of mauvey-blue and a subtle pinky-mauve margins. Very pretty indeed.

clematis Sieboldiana is an exotic looking clematis that is hugely popular. The creamy-white tepals have a rich purple crown of staminodes.
An unstable variety where the blooms can occasionally revert to clematis Alba Plena.

In late spring and early summer the beautiful pure white blooms are double or semi-double, with single blooms produced in late summer. Clematis Sylvia Denny is an all-time favourite of ours.

The attractive double blue-purple flowers have a greeny-white tip to the tepals and appear from summer through to autumn. This stunning clematis will light up your patio when grown in a large container with good drainage. 

The pretty pale mauve double blooms have flashes of rose-pink and pale lavender, they have a textured surface with crimped edges making the flower look like a frilly ball. Single flowers are produced in autumn.

Clematis VIENNETTA has stunning blooms with cream tepals with a prominent dome-shaped purple centre that is mottled with cream. Although similar to Sieboldiana, the dome-shaped centre is larger and more frequently has highlights of greeny-cream.

The blooms of Clematis 'Vyvyan Pennell' are gorgeous rosette-like double blooms with deep rosy-lavender when first open, maturing to deep lilac-mauve. The later single blooms are deep lilac-mauve. A family favourite & one of our first clematis.

Clematis 'Yukiokoshi' has distinctive, irregular, almost 'ragged' looking double white blooms with pale green bars on the early flowers. It's an exotic looking flower that is always popular when featured at Chelsea!
