Clematis DARCEY is a beautifully abundant patio clematis of deep dusky-pink flowers with a deeper raspberry pink bar and red anthers. A very eye catching statement for any patio pot.

These gorgeous flowers are almost black on opening and mature to the deepest purple with a velvety sheen. As the flower ages the crown of stamens take on a silvery appearance which adds to their charm.

Her charming rounded blooms are very pale pearly-pink with slightly deeper pearly-pink margins and a striking crown of wine-red stamens. Always one of the earliest large flowered clematis to bloom.

The double flowers are mid bluish-purple with rosy-pink highlights. The blooms gradually unfurl from a tight central 'ball' to create the multi-layered pom-pom like flower.
