At Thorncroft Clematis we have stocked 'Westerplatte' from the very earliest opportunity and it has always proven to be a popular plant with the gardener.
It's natural hardiness and easy to grow nature are a part of this popularity for certain, but the long and consistent flowering period June to September (in the UK) is the most attractive attribute I'm sure.
Kokonoe was short listed for the Chelsea Flower Show Plant of the Year Competition 2020 and is the sister plant to Taiga which we introduced at Chelsea in 2018 to a delighted gardening public.
We believe that Kokonoe will be as well received and we have some smashing plants for you.
Clematis Samaritan Jo™ is an exceptionally versatile garden plant. You can grow it in a patio container or in the garden, you can use it planted in multiples to create a large mass of colour and you can use it mixed with other plants as a companion to provide a contrast in colour and some 'wow' factor.
A reliable performer with an abundance of summer flowers.
The group of clematis known as integrifolia are cultivated forms of the species which has a herbaceous habit and originates from Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Austria, The Balkans, South Russia and further into parts of Asia.
Thanks to these origins, it is a very hardy plant and can cope easily with the weather in the UK and Europe, making it an easy clematis to grow for both the clematis enthusiast and the beginner.
Clematis 'Piilu' - Abundant, colourful, compact and hardy. What more do you need?
Clematis 'Piilu' was bred in the early 1980's in Estonia by the late Uno Kivistik an admired clematis grower and nurseryman.

What she lacks in size she makes up for in quantity.
This is one of my favourite clematis and has been since I first set eyes on it back in 2008.
Ooh La La™ was bred by Mr Raymond Evison of Guernsey Clematis Nursery and was officially introduced in 2009 at Chelsea Flower Show.
Luxurious velveteen beauty but also a very hardy plant and free flowering too.
A Japanese beauty to adorn your garden.
For this fantastic clematis, life started back in 1997 when Masashi Iino took the two clematis florida 'Sieboldiana' and 'Rubra' from the group viticella and created a batch of seedlings. From these seedlings would emerge the plant that was to be called 'Night Veil'.
Trachelospermum jasminoides is commonly known as Star Jasmin, a splendid evergreen with a scented summer flower.
At Thorncroft Clematis we have always had a collection of other climbers for our customers to enjoy and we consider great garden performance to be the most important quality any plant should have. Well you get that with Trachelospermum that's for sure!
